InverPower exhibited at iGEM 2026, the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia, at booth 2015–2018 in Hall 2 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 7 to 9 October 2026. On 8 October we exchanged memoranda of understanding with Sungrow Renewables and Sunkean Cable at the MGTC Arena. Six partner brands were on the stand.
iGEM is the country's main green technology show, run with the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) as implementing agency. Most of the people who walk Hall 2 are buying or specifying something. That is why we take a stand there rather than a table at the back, and why our technical team stayed on it for all three days.

What was on the stand?
Six of the brands we distribute shared the booth: Sungrow, Sunkean, AndSolar, Stäubli, Seven and Seaward. The main wall belonged to AndSolar's rapid shutdown and optimizer system, for rooftops that need module-level shutdown. Sunkean had its own board showing the cable path from PV module through the inverter to the battery, and the Seaward test instruments sat on the back counter where people could pick them up.
Before the show we asked visitors to bring the BOM for a job they were quoting, so the round table was mostly used for going through stock and lead times on specific lines. That is the conversation we would rather have face to face than by email.
| Day | What happened |
|---|---|
| Wed 7 October | iGEM 2026 opening. Booth 2015–2018 opened; giveaways and lucky draws ran all three days. |
| Thu 8 October | MOU exchanges with Sunkean Cable and Sungrow Renewables, 4.00pm, MGTC Arena, Hall 5. iGEM officially opened by the Deputy Prime Minister, who visited the stand. |
| Fri 9 October | Final day on the floor. |

The two MOUs
At 4.00pm on 8 October we went over to the MGTC Arena in Hall 5 for the exchange ceremony. The first MOU was with Sunkean Cable Co. Ltd, whose solar cable we carry as sole distributor in Malaysia. The second, on the same stage, was with Sungrow Renewables, for whom we are a preferred distributor.

For an EPCC, an MOU like this matters for one practical reason. When you specify a Sungrow inverter or a Sunkean cable on a project, you want to know the stock in Malaysia is coming through an official channel, with the manufacturer's warranty and documents behind it. Putting both relationships on paper in front of the industry is how we show that.

The Deputy Prime Minister's visit, and what comes next
On 8 October, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation YAB Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof officially opened iGEM 2026 and came through our stand. We walked him through the Sunkean ESS board, from the PV array through the inverter to the battery pack. With storage now part of the large-scale solar programme, cable for the battery side is something more EPCCs are asking us about.
If you met us at the booth and are waiting on a quote, it is with the team. If you missed us, send the BOM for your next job to the address on inverpower.com.my and we will go through stock, lead times and the documents you need, the same way we did at KLCC.
