The Sungrow MBL160-PF is a 16.076 kWh, 51.2 V low-voltage lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery for residential solar-plus-storage systems built on Sungrow MG hybrid inverters. This IP65 version is rated for indoor and outdoor installation and is floor-mounted on built-in casters, with wall mounting available as an option. InverPower distributes the MBL160-PF in Malaysia as Sungrow's preferred authorised distributor, with pre-sales sizing support, after-sales service, warranty and RMA handling. The battery is rated for 8,000 cycles at 0.5C charge and discharge and 25°C, to 70% end of life. Nominal charge and discharge current is 157 A, with a maximum of 200 A and a peak discharge current of 300 A for 3 seconds. Up to 20 units can be connected in parallel for up to 320 kWh. Each unit has a built-in aerosol fire extinguisher, dual output power terminals and a built-in DC breaker, with protection against over- and under-voltage, over-current and over- and under-temperature.
