Description

The Seaward PV:1525 is a handheld test instrument for electrical safety and performance testing on PV systems up to 1500 VDC and 25 A, covering ground continuity, insulation resistance, open circuit voltage and short circuit current. InverPower distributes Seaward solar test instruments in Malaysia, with local stock, technical support and warranty backing for EPCCs and installers.

The 1500 V rating is the reason to choose it over the PV150 class of instrument — modern commercial strings run past what a 1000 V tester can legally measure. Results can be tagged against the installation and pushed over Bluetooth to the mobile app, so data management stops being a clipboard exercise.
